Greetings all girls trying out for the 2025 girls’ basketball team(s). Here is information that you should know with tryouts starting soon. Winter and Spring Sports Registration Information
Welcome to Tohickon Athletics!Athletic Director: Mike WeirEmail: mweir@cbsd.orgWinter sports registration—which includes girls basketball, wrestling, winter cheer and boys basketball—is now available. Central Bucks is using BigTeams to register for athletics. All 7th and 8th grade students interested in playing a Winter sport for Tohickon this year must be registered on the BigTeams Website. For a quick reference checklist, please see the attachment in the email. Please visit the Tohickon Middle School athletics site, then click on the “Click HERE to complete Athletic Forms” button in the upper right corner. Registration is now open for all 7th and 8th graders interested in participating in sports at Tohickon! 9th Grade sports are through the high school and those students must register through either CB West or CB East using their Big Team account. Sports available at Tohickon this winter are Girls Basketball, Boys Basketball, Wrestling and Cheerleading. In order for students to participate (tryouts and/or practice), the following MUST be completed. Complete a PIAA physical form (section 5 & 6 only) stamped by a doctor for the first sport of the school year. This form is available here: PIAA Physical Sections 5 & 6 NEW April 2023.pdf and must be authorized by a doctor after May 1, 2025. PIAA Physical forms must be uploaded to Big Teams.If your child played a fall sport at Tohickon, complete a PIAA recertification form (Section 7 only), completed by a parent for all additional sports of the school year. Concussion Impact Testing
Tohickon Middle School Concussion Impact Testing 2025-26 School YearBaseline Impact Testing can be completed prior to participating in the following middle school sports: (Football, Boys' and Girls' Soccer, Volleyball, Cheerleading, Wrestling, Basketball, Baseball, Softball, Boys' and Girls' Lacrosse)Any 7th grade students trying out for these sports MAY complete the IMPACT baseline concussion test prior to trying out if they have not done so for an earlier fall or winter sport. Any 8th grade students playing these sports who have not previously completed the IMPACT baseline concussion test can do so as well. If you completed this as a 7th grader for any other sport, you do NOT need to take it again. Please follow the directions below to complete the Impact Baseline Concussion Test Impact Baseline Concussion Test Directions:In order to have the most accurate baseline score, all students should complete the Impact Test in a home environment that is free from distraction.
